Built an engineering team and created an audio streaming platform from the ground up at TuneIn San Francisco. Launched the skunk works project from proof of concept to production ready in 6 months. TuneIn’s premium offering is now operating on this platform. The system is designed in AWS to be highly available, scalable, and to allow for growth. Managed tech leads and product managers in order to identify technology requirements and build roadmaps. Using JIRA methodologies, led the team to successful implementation, and realization of product goals.

Critical uptime was essential. As the manager of this team of 8, spanning multiple disciplines: infrastructure, database development, network, devops and systems administration, we made the entire TuneIn platform redundant, resilient, and repeatable. This world-class infrastructure services 65 million monthly active users. Acting as GC, managed contractors, reviewed drawings and built out 7 new offices for the company.

Selected and managed the implementation of new technology. Some of these new tools included; Dropbox, GoogleApps, Egnyte, printing technology, LastPass, Cisco Video Conference, Pagerduty, SumoLogic, Git Hub, Attlasian Suite, and Slack. The team improved operations taking TuneIn from start-up to mid-size company.

Created and improved user workflow for a 160 employee design studio. Teamed with designers to maximize new technology. Planned and rolled out full-scale software and OS upgrades.

Supported the HR team with data management, information flow and forecasting. Maintained department technologies and rolled out new software. Upgraded the existing HRIS system with HR Smart.

Frog Design leave of absence. Followed my entrepreneurial spirit to integrate education and experience at a two man startup. We designed, prototyped, and manufactured SD form factor GPS receivers.

Represented the corporate face and ideals to business clients. Duties included; administration, shipping, booking travel and expense reports. Personally ensured Frog employees smiled each day.
