Assistant Director, Multifamily Housing Management
Current• Provide regional oversight of Bay Aging Apartments, comprised of 373 units at 12 community locations; Properties are funded by a variety of sources (LIHTC, HOME, HUD Section 202, FHLB, local and private investments), each with unique compliance requirements• Contribute as a member of Bay Aging’s Leadership Team and maintain knowledge of the organization’s operations and diverse menu of services to effectively market and provide formal presentations to local, state, and national stakeholders• Work cohesively with finance, maintenance, property and program/services staff to ensure stabilized and productive operations• Supervise 5 Property Site Coordinators, 2 Resident Service Coordinators, 1 AmeriCorps VISTA, and 1 Administrative Assistant• Initiate and review subcontractor agreements; Prioritize capital improvements and surplus cash projects • Provide constant capacity building and problem-solving to streamline and produce effective methods for routine paperwork processing, including lease terms, rule addendums, financial processing, tenant eligibility, etc.• Process budgets, rent increases, and project-based subsidy agreements with funders• Support business expansion initiatives
