Drove strategies to improve digital experiences for prospective personal loan customers, from SEO strategies through app starts on the site. I work with multiple internal partners and external agencies to improve our content strategies as well as refine the UX for the website and landing pages.

For my second year in the Discover MBA leadership program, I strategized and executed on promotional marketing campaigns to drive incremental card usage with key strategic merchants. I worked with creative agencies and merchant representatives to develop creative for email marketing and landing pages that supported the campaigns.

In the first year of the MBA leadership program at Discover, I was part of the Card Acquisition digital team optimizing experiences for prospective cardmembers. These enhancements ranged from incremental A/B testing on the cardmember application to drive incremental app completes, to new technology initiatives like application pre-fill and voice assistant apps.

As VP of Marketing for a materials science startup, I built the branding and foundational marketing strategies for the organization. I also led and worked with the founder to develop the core P&L financials and market sizing and entry projections. These culminated in effective pitching that led to multiple pitch event wins and awards.

While pursuing my MBA, I worked with Brunswick’s iJet Lab at the U of I Research Park. I supported corporate partners on content and event marketing efforts for new product releases. Additionally, I led branding developments for the Lab, redesigned the Lab’s website, and created research reports and business cases for introducing services.

For my MBA internship, I joined the Discover Card Portfolio marketing team to assess and find business value in the company’s attrition strategy. Through working with analytics and other business teams, I created customer journeys that improved the end-of-relationship experience, and retained customers long-term.

At KW2, I touched various aspects of marketing projects for clients. My experience was two-fold: strategy and account management. From digital strategy coordination to messaging and positioning strategies, I effectively derived insights from research to find and execute communications opportunities for clients. Additionally, I simultaneously managed multiple accounts to budget and timeline efficiencies, and upsold services to drive further optimal value.
