“A person with a business mind and a social heart,” I have spent the last 10 years working with Action on Poverty (AOP) in the not-for-profit sector, gaining a comprehensive understanding of NGO management and development project execution. My journey has been shaped by learning from academic leaders in international development as well as local communities in remote rural areas, which has provided me with invaluable, firsthand experience in locally-led development, social innovation, and community partnerships.I am passionate about connecting Shared Value Partners and Local Changemakers to design and implement development products that improve the wellbeing of marginalized and structurally poor communities. A key focus of mine is Community-Based Tourism (CBT), specifically a village development model aimed at creating better places for both local residents and visitors.Through my work with ethnic minority communities in the mountainous North-Western Vietnam, I have helped develop over 20 CBT villages. Drawing from this experience, I am currently designing a CBT product development framework to guide the creation of sustainable, inclusive, and viable villages. My goal is to scale and replicate this model both nationally and regionally.I am committed to applying design thinking, product development, and an entrepreneurial mindset to development work, with the aspiration to be a thought leader in creating impactful, scalable solutions for social good.
