Hurmi Nomberg, a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, currently serves as a product development manager with Lilly Pulitzer. In this role, she oversees the creation and implementation of all of the company's essential programs, from initial conception through launch. Her position requires extensive international travel to factory sites in locations such as Lima, Peru; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen, China; Colombo, Sri Lanka; and New Delhi, India. In addition to performing inspections and supervising the overall production process, Hurmi Nomberg holds meetings with prospective vendors and cultivates a network of industry contacts to ensure the continued prosperity of the Lilly Pulitzer line.Before joining Lilly Pulitzer, Hurmi Nomberg was a senior designer with Kazu, part of Lana Fashionwear Inc. Her responsibilities with Kazu included designing sportswear, knitwear, and dresses for several of the company’s high-profile accounts, including Polo Ralph Lauren, Land's End, Calvin Klein, and The Orvis Company.In her spare time, Hurmi Nomberg enjoys visiting museums, watching movies, and sampling gourmet food.
