Bi Incident Manager/Data Analyst
Montenegro
Complex BI/Reporting/DataHub service integrates internal and external data from very different (by transaction types) sources.Even with outstanding team something things get wrong. Something is not covered by tests. Some integrations fails. Some data is very important, other — is not. At one time same data is more important than at other time. Some of these decisions can be automated or at least semi-automated. Some of the fails have to be fixed immediately, so you have to be familiar with few programming languages, frameworks and tools. So, DevOps.Some of the problems can wait, but needs to be well described for developers, testers and business owners. All of the past issues have to be monitored. All of the metrics which can show new problems have to be monitored too. Badly monitored issues (or over monitored too) causes night calls from Service Desk. "M" for Motivation. How about one-time analyses, urgent reports and requests from other teams? Developers develops, testers do tests, incident manager do all other stuff. So, Data Analyst. No time for full-cycle SSRS or PowerBI report development, so Pandas, Jupyter, sklearn, Dash and Streamlit is on the way.Few other things in toolbelt:MS SQL Server, Postgres, AWS stack, Python, C#, Powershell, Zabbix, Git, MS VisualSudio/Code, XML/JSON/Protobuf/REST, SSAS, PowerBI, Grafana, Klipfolio, Elastic/Kibana and mix of zoo and loony bin of microservices, containers and hand-made bicycles.
