In my role at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) since January 2023, I've been deeply involved in assessing nuclear facilities and machinery foundations. This includes conducting seismic structural evaluations at nuclear power plants in France, researching deeply-embedded small modular reactors (SMRs), and contributing to projects involving design response spectra, site response analysis, and seismic isolation systems. Additionally, I've performed structural strength assessments and repair designs for machinery foundations to ensure structural integrity and safety across diverse infrastructure projects.
