I'm a senior at Colgate University, applying to M.Arch programs in pursuit of a career in architecture, design, and historic preservation. As an art and art history major, I'm fascinated by the implicit and explicit forms that build our cultures. How can the built environment change who we are? To what limits can design choices advance our objectives? As such, I've taken lots of architecture and cultural studies coursework and have had the privilege to conduct undergraduate research as a James Madison Fellow for Colgate University's Center for Freedom and Western Civilization. Now I'd like to put that knowledge and experience to good use, designing the future of human experience.Professional Interests: architecture, architectural design, architectural drawings, architectural models, sculpture, creativity and innovation, studio art, project management, design, design documentation, 3D modeling, Rhino 3D, automated computer-aided design (AutoCAD), Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, site planning, built environment, sustainability, sustainable design, biophilic design, cultural heritage, cultural heritage protection, historical preservation, tangible cultural heritage, international law, UNESCO, cultural anthropology, fine arts, visual art, art history, conceptual art, contemporary art, avant-garde, arts and crafts, craftsmanship
