The scope of the project was to develop a sample application and record as well as enhance the methodology and approach for reengineering migration.

Legacy System AnalyzerContribution / Highlights:As a team member I was actively involved in the below phases of project :Complete design of the architecture using Struts2, EJB, HibernateDesign of the UI and using AJAX at appropriate places.Authoring the approach documents for each process.Lead a team of 8 for analysis, design and development of the application.Preparing quality metrics and recording efforts required for the complete project.Presenting the approach to the Japanese Pre-sales team (Client-site).; Technologies - JDK 1.6, Swing, Spring Core, Multithreading, Jasper Reports, Oracle 10g, Eclipse 3.2Project Profile; The scope of this project was an enhanced version of the previously developed Nat/ADA Analyzer. The enhanced scope included development of UI in Swing, support for COBOL code analysis and reimplementation of the tool using a flexible framework like Spring to make the tool highly configurable. This product is being showcased to various clients as an USP for Legacy system Migration as well as Maintenance projects.

The scope of the project was to analyze the Natural/ADABAS application and perform the source system analysis. After documentation, the OO reengineering is done by identifying the OO objects and developing UML diagrams for the same. Then the application was developed in Struts and EJB following three-tier architecture. The project also demanded development of an API called Remote Job Processing API. The scope of the API was to accept requests for Remote Job Processing and scheduling the remote job to the available scheduler. It also handles the normal / erroneous execution of the jobs.

Contribution / Highlights:Was solely responsible for complete design and development and support of this application :Analysis of Source system developed in COBOL and CICS.Designing the system and preparing UML Design documents.Complete Development of system delivering high performance and at the same time processing multiple requests.Development of alert screens using JAVA Swing and alert Reports using Jasper report tool.Development of Data Access Tier, include developing DAO classes and writing SQL Queries.IT/ST and UAT Onsite Support.Deployment of Application on Test as well as Production Server.
