The Miller group is a well known and respected Road and Bridge Constructor in Ontario and Canada.My role is as follows:-Prepare and draft Construction Claims for unresolved Claims at Field level and Extension of Times for Miller nationwide-Draft Mediation Position Summaries, Adjudication Position Summaries and Arbitration Summaries- Reporting to the Director of Contract Compliance- Actively participate in Mediations and recently Adjudications under the new Construction Act- Launched an electronic contract retention system nationwide- Developed and implemented a 100 page Best Practices Contract & Risk Management manual- Developed Best Practices for Holdback Collection and Cash Flow-Manage the electronic contract retention system-Coordinate with relevant personnel from operations to support and assemble claims submissions-Participate in developing and implementing protocols and procedures-Assisting the Director with Contract issues that involve litigation or potential litigation-Collaborate closely with the Director, Contract Compliance on Claim & Process Standardization-Subcontract Management - coordinate with operations to issue, negotiate, monitor and track all subcontracts to ensure consistency across the organization and full understanding of the contract obligations-Utilize CCA and CCDC Subcontract Agreements and tailor short agreements for small construction work-Review terms and conditions of Subcontracts for other divisions of Miller that work as a Subcontractor-Maintain the master database for all subcontracts-Monitor and maintain subcontractor evaluations-Enforce the standard evaluation program throughout the company for subcontractor ratings-Coordinate with operations to ensure evaluations are completed and recorded in the central database-Proposal Writing - Assist in the coordination, scripting and production of Design-Build proposals-Maintain master database of issued contractor ratings for the organization

Bruce Power is a Nuclear Power generator/operator and supplier to the Province of Ontario.My role was as follows:-Independent Contractor to Bruce Power through Southern Cross Management Services.-Assist with contract management, claims management, forensic cost reviews, claims and dispute avoidance.-Produce claims schedules using daily reports, contractor schedules and other project documents to map critical path delays.-Construct productivity analysis reports from daily site reports and prepare various ad hoc reports.-Perform cost analysis, time analysis, schedule delay analysis and scope analysis.-Prepare reports and claim documentation to relay and support findings.-Assist with litigation, forensic audit, e-discovery, contractual claims and dispute resolution.-Review various project documents, labour, material and travel costs for discrepancies for claim development.-Perform real time invoice reviews to avoid contract disputes, overbilling and project delays in return effectively generating $100,000 in monthly savings.-Assist in Warranty claims arising from the owner’s water demineralization facility.-Review Contracts, Change Orders, RFI’s, RFP’s, Proposals, Agreements and Purchase Orders.-Forecast cost of labour, major component materials and time requirements for nuclear refurbishment projects.

BK Gulf is part of Dutco Balfour Beatty LLC, who have undertaken mega construction projects.My role was as follows:- Assist the Sr. Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager in completing various tasks related to HVAC.- Calculate the amount of insulation material needed for the HVAC ducts within the project.- Visit the site to study and examine various materials being used and the process in which they were installed. - Analyze engineering drawings which are used on site.
