I am a dedicated individual that always strive to reach my potential. Whether I am studying or working, I am extremely focused at reaching my goals. I see competitiveness as a strength of mine as it allows me to give 100% with whatever I do. Mathematics has always been a subject that I have enjoyed which is the reason why I am pursuing a career in Accounting and Finance.I am an expert user of Microsoft office programs, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as these programs have always been heavily needed in my past and present jobs. I am fully efficient at working on different operating systems such as Windows and Mac OSX.Problem solving has always been an activity that I have seen as a strength of mine; from a very young age I have felt confident in dealing with figures under pressure. I also have great communication, time management and motivational skills, which allows me to excel in any working environment. I am able to speak Arabic, which is improving gradually every day as I am attending Saturday classes to assist me. Being able to speak in the Arabic language helps me deal with customers’ queries and complaints if they have trouble speaking English. It also helps the cognitive process and allows me to feel more confident as an individual.

    Accounts Payables:- Log on supplier invoices and uploading onto GMS (Accounting software).- Verify receipts for expense claims and ensure all receipts have been checked and saved.- Prepare expense summaries for expense claims and post onto GMS.- Set up weekly payments to clients, contractors and subcontractors on Barclays Net, Wells Fargo and via cheques. - Deal with clients/employees queries regarding payment of invoice/expense form.- Co-ordinate credit card expenses and ensure these are kept up to date (GBP, EUR, USD). - Obtain authorisation for credit card, expense claims and supplier invoices. - Reconcile AP accounts. Accounts Receivables: - Update debtors report daily to ensure it's up to date and accurate (VLOOKUP)- Chase customers for payments when invoices become outstanding. - Communicating via email/phone with clients if they require information; e.g bank details, certificate of residence, W-9 & Vendor forms.- Debtors report reconciliation. To ensure all outstanding invoices are entered into GMS - Enter cash receipts onto GMS.- Maintain the sales day book and cash book ensuring there are no errors. - Reviewing draft sales invoices in terms of cost, currency, PO code. - Issue invoice numbers accordingly to Client Co-ordinators. - Reconcile AR accounts. Financial Accounting:- Monthly bank reconciliations for 5 bank accounts (three USD, EUR and GBP accounts). Set up journals for treasury transfers, bank charges, Withheld tax etc.- Review and approve projects on GMS, ensuring budgets and client details are correct. - Update weekly cash flow forecasts to ensure bank accounts obtain sufficient funds.- Communicate with Client Co-ordinates daily to ensure invoices are sent out to clients efficiently.
