Individualized English and as needed

I assist with all event aspects held at the Lifelong Learning Center on the campus of Northeast Community College. This includes event setup, strategic planning, technical equipment troubleshooting, greeting event coordinators, and transitioning. Additionally, I do various tasks for the Development Team in the Development and External Affairs Division.

My primary job is to help schedule non-credit courses and events for Norfolk, O'Neill, South Sioux City, and West Point attendance centers. I also help facilitate workshops and scheduled events at the Lifelong Learning Center on the campus of Northeast Community College, Norfolk, NE. We specialize in facilitating any type of event whether it's educational, administrative, business, long-distance, or specialized. I work full-time. My college email is davidb@northeast.edu.

As a facilitator, I set up and deliver course material through an online classroom. At the outset of each week, I prep course materials for students. I also answer student concerns, attend online webinars, and communicate with other facilitators via forums.

Manager and trouble-shooter for 13 station computer network.Teach face to face internet classes, keyboarding, desktop publishing and others as needed and required by the state.Provide remediation and structure tests and daily lessons to match student abilities.I also manage 5 fulltime teachers and 2 part-time teachers.

I taught students in a middle school setting. I was the acting principal for the school responsible for meeting state standards.

After the school where I was teaching closed (see below), I sought employment with H-E-B of Texas. Here I was hired to help manage 20 temporary workers hired by H-E-B to drive customers over a construction zone. This newly built grocery store in the Waco/Hewitt area directed a team of 4 supervisors to manage golf cart divers safely over a parking lot project for 5 weeks. I was also trained to check out customers at the check-out stands. I did this for a period of 6 months before relocating back to fulltime teaching in Nebraska.

Supervised 9 professionals, a paraprofessional, a cook, 2 custodial engineers, and 6 child care workers.Maintained a high level of state standards for accreditation. Sought and secured 100% compliance for national accreditation.Troubleshooter in all respects.Maintain a high degree of visibility in the community (publicity).Collaborated with national team to improve school.Teacher:Taught all subjects to middle school students on a part-time basis.Counseled with students and parents as they progressed toward higher levels of education.Technology Advisor:Installed and maintained a computer lab of 15 stations. , Security Screener, RamperUsed Apollo computer language to check-in and screen customers before flights.Gained certification through extensive training as a high level security screener using X-ray technology. Maintained and tested the equipment.Sought complete customer satisfaction, de-iced planes, used radio technology, and landed planes by working directly with pilots.Sold services, handled special service requests, and helped travelers with immediate needs and problems. Troubleshooter.On-call for problematic situations (i.e. driving pilots to other airports in emergency situations, delivering lost luggage, etc.

Regular duties as the principal, teacher, and technology coordinator with an enrollment of 90 students. Basically, duties were same as listed above with other schools.Other highlights:Design, install, and maintain Apple computer lab.Directed church choir and organist for church.Made recommendations for school improvement and construction program which resulted in new classrooms, new offices, and made better use of building space.
