Assistant Coordinator
Current• Working as an Assistant Program Coordinator for a $3 million market linkage development program aimed at augmenting sales of horticulture produce across various agriculture value chains e.g. citrus fruit, grapes, red chili, banana and vegetables• Research responsibilities include, drafting and updating secondary data, deciding on appropriate research tools to work on various value chains, collating M&E data and drafting periodic progress reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly and annual)• Responsible for conducting secondary research about the market for the above value chains in order to collect information about possible new market linkages and present them in interactive charts & graphical form to the Coordinator for further analysis & decision• Writing event briefings, reports and develop talking points• Follow up for successful sales figures by “The Agribusiness Project’s” beneficiary farmers and leading super markets• Organized a training workshop on "Trade Show Participation" by an international consultant • Organized a promotional exhibit at the DHA Food Festival 2015, including a ‘live’ demonstration of different meat cuts and their value addition potential to the meat value chain, especially in terms of boosting exports of meat to foreign countries• Coordinating with beneficiary farmers through the respective value chains in order to keep them updated on upcoming capacity building programs and exposure visits.
