An award-winning ad man of words that speak volumes, I kick-started my advertising life with The D'Hamidi Partnership as a creative strategy, copy and concept resource for Pakistan's largest telco, Mobilink. After successfully being able to do a host of campaigns for Mobilink, I was given the task to launch MCB Mobile and then take it forward. While doing this, I also did a host of campaigns for Engro Corp, Engro Foods, re-launch campaign for Pakistan Cables and Habib Metro.After being the key concept man for Mobilink JAZZ, Jazba, Corporate and Indigo, I decided to work with FMCG clientele and that's when I switched to Lowe & Rauf and worked for an array of Unilever power brands, including Lifebuoy, Vim, Surf Excel, Sunlight, Domex, Fair & Lovely, Pepsodent & Knorr! While working on these brands, I developed an award-winning campaign for Lifebuoy Global Handwashing Day 2013. Furthermore, I was also given charge for brands like Dalda Cooking Oil, Cheers Crackers (the new launch by EBM), Dunkin' Donuts and Faysal Bank.My love for the telco industry was loyal, and that's what made me switch back to another Telco brand, this time Zong (which is a part of the World's largest telecom operator, China Mobile). I relocated to Islamabad where I managed the dedicated creative force for the Zong account at Spectrum Y&R (Young & Rubicam). To my portfolio at Y&R, I have managed the entire campaign for the launch of Zong's postpaid brand BizXcess and Zong's youth brand 'Circle - hamesha together'.Now that's been some ride. Oh well, I moved back to Karachi and looked after the Creative at Pirana (an affiliate of M&C Saatchi). I was later asked to move back to Islamabad to lead the creative for USAID’s Pakistan Outreach and Communication Activity project for M&C Saatchi World Services.That’s been some back and forth, but now I’m finally back in Karachi where I’ve setup my own communication agency – to fulfil my long-time dream.With hands-on experience in working with leading Telcos, Consumer Goods, Financial brands and Development Sector, my creative approach has enabled clients have their brands stand out from the clutter with campaigns that have created great impact.
