Mr. Hussein A. Hussein has over 10 years in Investment & Banking Sector and has long served Salaam Group (Djibouti) in various capacities. He assisted in co-founding Salaam Investment Bank Kenya and was responsible for licensing, institution set up, development of the Company investment strategy, and steering the company towards achievement of its vision. He was charged with providing oversight and direction to ensure strategic direction, leadership and financial soundness of the investment bank. Prior to this, Mr. Hussein served as the Head of Internal Control & Compliance Department where he oversaw the internal controls of the bank and developed risk management guidelines. Before that Hussein served as the Head of International Relations Department where he established and maintained correspondent banking relationship and efficient outward and inward remittance services. Mr. Hussein was a member of the ALCO committee at Salaam African Bank.Mr. Hussein holds a Bachelor of International Business Management from University Utara Malaysia.
