My role was to facilitate debate and discussions whilst providing a comfortable and safe environment in which ideas that were often very new to sudents could be grappled with.Also involved helping students with their assignments and studying as well as marking test and assignment scripts

Administrative work, fieldwork and research for the Missing Persons Task Team Priority Crimes Litigation Unit National Prosecuting Authority. Fieldwork involved assisting in the excavation of the bodies of activists murdered by the Apartheid security services and buried in unmarked graves. The research involved trawling through police files from the 1970s and 1980s that had been thrown out by police stations from the areas surrounding the borders with Swaziland and Lesotho. I had to identify killings that involved Apartheid security service officers and seemed to have political motives.
