Finance And Grants Support Officer
CurrentARK is delivering two USAID projects in Yemen. The Yemen Community Resilience project works with Yemeni civil society to build community resilience in communities impacted by instability. The Building Peace project works with communities and farmers to provide them with technical assistance to mitigate the risks of climate change that affect crop resilience and water irrigation.Key roles and responsibilities:• Collaborate with budget manager to develop long-range plans, budgets, forecasts, and tracking metrics to assist in evaluating financial key indicators.• Manage cash flow for projects to support program implementation, monitor fund disbursements and receipts, ensuring proper utilization of grant funds and Implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize financial risks.• Administer subawards and grants received ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, monitor subrecipients financial reports and provide guidance on financial management and verify subrecipients expenditures and ensure they align with USAID regulations.• Identify financial risks associated with USAID funding, implement controls to mitigate them, monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud and conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to address potential vulnerabilities.• Participate in Preparing and submitting accurate and timely financial reports to USAID in accordance with grant agreements, ensure financial data is properly documented and aligned with the reporting requirements.• Maintain accurate financial records including invoices, receipts, and financial reports, ensure all financial documentation is organized and easily accessible for audits and reporting purposes, Implement document retention policies in line with USAID requirements.
