Interesting anecdote:Sitting for a Maths exam, when I was around 9, it memorably stands out that I spent two hours stuck in a daydream and woken from my daze by the teacher who reminded me about the test with 10 minutes left for papers to be collected. Unsurprisingly enough, I did not pass that exam - although I aced the one after it.Moral of the story? That tale signifies almost everything about me. All my life I have been a dreamer. It has been my dream to achieve dreams, as many as I could. It would have been impossible to carry out each dream, mostly due to the massive volume of dreaming happening. And there were dreams that I could not make happen, but that never stopped me from trying. The beauty of it, as I see it, is: Even if you do not succeed at achieving a dream, it is still a learning experience that would help you succeed with your next dream in some way. This philosophy of pushing myself to master the art of turning visions into reality, if you will; is the essence of who I am, and the perspective from which I view most aspects of my life. Constantly setting the dream bar on free roaming opens the mind to things not seen before or would otherwise not be seen, along with training the brain to explore without any constraints or boxes. My career is a typical example of my philosophy: In the 20+ years that span my career, I have been through a multitude of positions and industries, starting as a Junior Consultant with Ernst & Young in 2000 and working my way up to having a successful Freelance Business & Communication Consultancy practice. Although I love what I do in the line of my freelance work - especially managing financial asset portfolios, I am also currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development & Family Studies; because I am passionate about understanding the development process in the context of family environments, and hopefully helping to bring change through conveying that understanding to others. And the dream goes on.
