Kevin managed a team of outsourced programmers to integrate 50 cloud service vendors with the Cloudability service using a variety of technologies from web scraping to OAuth authorization and authentication. Planning, process management, continuous testing, security, integration and quality control were key aspects of the role.On the Data Pipeline team, Kevin designed and developed Java microservices. He also delivered a flexible in-house reporting system (Ruby), a secure API proxy service (NodeJS), an analytics pipeline (segment.com), and various ReactJS components to improve front-end performance.

WebtraffIQ provided technical consultancy and services to customers requiring in-depth web analytics. Clients included Sony UK, Publicis, Boots, and other large UK companies. WebtraffIQ adapted its SaaS offering to meet the specific requirements of each client, for example by delivering bespoke reports and segmentation/channel analysis.

Kevin was responsible for designing and delivering a web analytics solution for international rollout. This system was designed to serve various user groups, such as web designers, marketeers, advertisers and directors. Reports were reported in real or near-real time, at summary and drill-down levels of granularity.The system is successfully in use today by Tiscali International, and saves over $100k per year in outsourcing fees. In addition, by hosting the web activity databases internally, other data-mining projects are given immediate and rapid access to data.

During 1998 and 1999, Kevin helped to integrate disparate bank systems using in-house technologies. At the launch of the Euro, Kevin helped the back office teams to convert currency operations from national European currencies to the new Euro currency. During 1999, Kevin helped prepare the bank for the year 2000 by testing both front and back office systems. Later in 2000, Kevin worked with the UBS treasury front office tactical development team to deliver instant financial product price information via UBS intranet web services.

Kevin designed and delivered a robust database schema and Perl back-end to process the matching of candidates to jobs. Applicado was one of the earliest job search services on the internet.

Kevin wrote real-time software to deliver dating services and other auto-response systems.
