Client Services Team Leader, Barclays Partner FinanceBarclaycard Apr 2010 - Jan 2013London, GbDuring my time within client services I have managed 3 key departments in the lifecycle of an application, starting in underwriting I co-managed the integration of the underwriting team after a lift and drop exercise from another site, this involved challenging and redesigning processes, creating new relationships with senior stakeholders, customers and clients along with developing a 15 strong team into a 42 strong department with a mass recruitment campaign which I lead and developed training plans for the new staff along with designing efficient rotas for a department operating 364 days a year and 14hrs per day, this in itself is a huge task and took a great deal of experimentation prior to establishing the most effective roster.As part of my underwriting responsibilities I also managed the fraud investigation team, this was initially one person but grew to five, we created the incoming fraud process to investigate victims of fraud, update the CIFAS database but also to spot patterns of fraud attacks and place preventative measures in place to reduce fraud risk and customer impactI moved to client onboarding which also including the client set up team, during this period I lead the onboarding of small clients up to blue chip multi nationals, liaising with senior stakeholders, internal and external projects teams and our own sales colleague to ensure the smooth and efficient onboarding.I ended 2012 by leading the retail fulfilment team which ends the application lifecycle by paying processing accepted finance applications and releasing funds,I managed this department through the christmas period solo which previously had been managed by two TL's, we retained SLA constantly through that period and at peak times processed thousands of applications per day and fulfilled multi million pound accounts on a daily basisI have also gained extensive project experience and have been a stakeholder on many projects and initiatives launched by the company. -
