Pebble Engineering is a design consultancy specialising in civil and structural engineering, undertaking projects throughout many sectors within the construction industry. Our engineers utilise the latest in computer design and finite element software, providing the capacity to design complex buildings and structures. In addition, we have the experience of project managing multi-disciplined teams to deliver infrastructure projects from inception to completion.We provide a specialist service ranging from structural inspections to the design and project management of muti-million pound developments. Prior to founding Pebble Engineering, Head of Structural Engineering, responsible for all Structural Engineers within Black & Veatch (BV) Europe and for the quality of structural engineering on all projects undertaken by Black & Veatch within Europe. The role included the responsibility for professional training, graduate recruitment, community of practice, demographic and geographical spread, allocation of staff to projects and the general development of the Structural Engineering discipline within BV Europe. Ultimately responsible for the structural design of numerous projects during this time throughout the UK and beyond; some of the larger projects included the £120M Glencorse WTW and the £80M Davyhulme WwTW,In addition to being Head of Structural Engineering, continued with the management/director role of BV’s Swansea Regional Office Manager, employing upwards of fifty staff, and reporting to the UK Director on the performance of all consultancy work undertaken within Wales. Responsible for the performance of the office and also for the health and welfare of all the staff. The role included reporting monthly on the financial situation of all of the consultancy projects undertaken in Wales and for developing the Business Plan for the region.
