Huw is a Chartered Structural Engineer and a Chartered Civil Engineer with over twenty-seven years’ experience of working with consulting engineers. He is experienced in the management of design teams, and the project management of civil and building projects. Huw is also a Chartered Environmentalist. Huw is a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers.Huw has significant experience in structural design for water treatment works, commercial buildings, industrial developments, educational and local authority projects. Huw has experience in the surveying, inspection and assessment of highway bridges and structures and has also been a prominent team member on contaminated land projects. Huw has gained considerable site experience over the years, holding the position of Resident Engineer for a number of construction and land remediation projects.Huw has been responsible for managing and directing a variety of projects throughout the UK, particularly within Partnering and Alliance Work Agreements.At Pebble, Huw looks after the day-to-day running and administration of Pebble Engineering and assists his fellow team members by undertaking quality management checks and reviews of the various designs and reports. Huw takes responsibility for business development, human resource functions and the P&LHuw’s previous role was Black & Veatch Europe’s Head of Structural Engineering, responsible for all structural engineering on projects undertaken within the Europe Region. In addition, Huw was also manager of Black & Veatch’s Swansea Regional Office.
