Senior operational and editorial decision maker on behalf of the BBC. Managing and co-ordinating changes to the live schedules to react to news and sporting events. Regular communication with senior BBC Management, including channel controllers, schedulers and marketing. Handling events ranging from the World Cup to 7/7.

Editorial role during major events such as 9/11 and the death of the Queen Mother. Other duties included schedule planning on BBC ONE and BBC TWO. Liaising with Outside Broadcasts and planning contingency schedules for live events. Line management of operations team.
