Current- Led the development and mass production of the M12 Fuel 3" Random Orbital Sander, meeting cost and performance targets in the US and emerging markets.- Implemented conceptual designs into production through Milwaukee’s VIGOR process, ensuring rapid prototyping, qualification builds, and pilot runs.- Conduct Lean & Six Sigma: Process optimization, high quality and the reduction of defects, DOE, Poka Yoke Design.- Directed cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration and execution of global projects.- Managed assembly production plans in Vietnam, aligning schedules with quality and production standards.- Conducted trade-off analysis to optimize cost, performance, risk, and timeline throughout development.- Reviewed tooling and manufacturing processes for plastics, rubber, die casting, machining, and stamping to ensure quality.- Created detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings with GD&T, ensuring design accuracy and manufacturability.- Applied validation techniques to ensure smooth design-to-production transitions, meeting all performance specifications.- Managed Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensured accurate material tracking in TC-BOM, E-BOM, and M-BOM.- Controlled design documentation and changes via Team Center PLM, maintaining project integrity.- Utilized Oracle, ERP, and ECN/ECO systems to manage technical changes and supply chains.- Coordinated HSF certification for export to emerging markets, ensuring regulatory compliance.- Supervised production builds and validated performance through matrix life testing.- Contributed Gemba Kaizen and safety initiatives, driving continuous process improvements.- Implemented design updates to enhance customer satisfaction for existing mass production products.- Mentored new engineers and interns, promoting skill development and team integration.
