I am a highly adaptable life science professional with experiences in vaccine and cell & gene therapy development, in both academic and industry environments. My core competencies include knowledge base building, translating abstract concepts into pragmatic directives, and collaborating in cross-functional matrix. My recent time at Be Biopharma highlighted my agility in the early start-up space and the mentioned strengths. As the first immunology hire, I worked with a dedicated group to grow the team from an incubator space to a company of >100. I contributed significantly to the development of the company’s B cell medicine platform, driving Be Bio’s concept from an idea, through DC nomination, to an IND submission; all the while, innovating towards a better platform for the next generation of B cell medicine. Prior to Be Bio, I earned a PhD at the Vaccine Testing Center (University of Vermont). Collaborating with a team of physicians and scientists, I led the investigation of the antibody response component in multi-institution vaccine trials. This effort resulted in multiple awarded grants and peer-reviewed publications, and one patent.Along with these experiences and strengths, I also bring a wholistic and analytical angle to any scientific problem, but most importantly - a can-do attitude.'Show up, follow through, and go forth!
