Analysis of the switchgear building in compliance with NRC guidelines. Finite element models were developed using RISA 3D.Modeled stress sequences in concrete and tension steel for a general design of a nuclear containment dome due to post tensioning for KEPCO engineering Korea using ABAQUS. 3D FEM simulates tensioning/jacking of the cable, locking of the tendon, and subsequently relaxation of the tendon with all associated states of stress able to be captured from the model.
