Duties and Responsibilities Include:- Vetting/drafting & evaluating agreements of different nature, such as; Production services, Broadcasting, Distribution, Crew sourcing, Rights acquisition, Advertising, Partnerships, Talent agreements (including Producer, Director, Writer and Cast) etc. - Examining deeds and documents of legal nature. - Registration of Intellectual property, such as; copyrights & trademarks. - Supervision and opinion writing on legal matters related to by-laws, Contract Laws, IP Laws, Labour Laws, Administrative & Marketing matters and Risk management. - Negotiating for Licenses and Permissions from copyright owners of film, music, viral videos etc. - Working with production teams to ensure legal paperwork is in compliance with law of the land. - Liaising with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient information flow. - Supervision and preparation of legal cases in the High courts, district, & civil courts. - Advising on cross-border transactional matters.
