Cybersecurity Engineer
Current- Vulnerability Management: Analyzing and addressing vulnerabilities, implementing systems, creating documentation, and providing code recommendations to reduce the overall number of vulnerabilities.- Automation of Security Processes: Automating security reports and tasks to minimize the time spent on manual reporting, allowing the team to focus on critical security issues.- Security Scanner Optimization: Developing automated methods to enhance security scanners and detect vulnerabilities across development, production, and branch environments.- Tool Utilization and Policy Implementation: Using Rapid7, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure security tools, and Cloudflare to implement security policies. Leveraging Azure to manage system access through - Privileged Identity Management (PIM) roles and conditional access policies.Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Utilizing Forcepoint to enforce DLP policies, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive information.- Continuous Monitoring and Incident Response: Continuously monitoring the environment to identify and resolve security incidents promptly. Providing feedback and guidance to developers and other stakeholders making changes in production.
