The mechanism allowed third-party sync adapters to easily plug into WinFS sync model and be discoverable on the fly.- Design and development of a Sync Adapter for syncing the contents of user’s mailbox between Microsoft Exchange server and WinFS store. It used WebDAV protocol to talk to Exchange server and supported two-way sync for mail and contact items. - Designed and developed a prototype email application on top of the Sync Adapter.
