It is established in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil.Since its foundation I've been playing many roles in the software testing environment like: tester, test automation developer, load and stress testing analyst, test analyst, test consultant and software test manager. The Procuradoria Geral do Município de Belo Horizonte is the general attorney of Belo Horizonte city hall. Since 2007 it is deploying a BPMS solution to control its processes. The solution chosen was the Oracle BPM and ECM suite. The processes were mapped by PwC.My role as an IT consultant includes: requirements identification, elaboration of their RFP and counseling of every topic related to IT in this project.

I've started as a System Analyst at Fumsoft then in about six months my role changed to Project Manager. My work there was software development projects management and software development process definition.

The main objective of thisinitiave is to map the demand for open source software in latin american governments and the offerof open source solutions in these countries. The intention is to detect business possibilities. Insidethis project my role as a consultant was the research for open source softwares developed in latinamerican and the detection of possible opportunities for these softwares. Also, I did a research for an open source content management system that will be used to build the RCSLA web site.Manager

This mission critical PKI will be applied to most of Minas Gerais Stateservices offered to citizens.The team I led was responsible for the network and operating systems infra-structure. Among thetasks performed were threat modeling of the entire PKI, workload characterization (modeling of userbehavior using statistical distributions). Highly available database and other virtual services wereimplemented.

Relevant technologies: Linux (Red Hat, Fedora, Debian), Linux Kernel, firewalls, MTA (Qmail,Postfix), Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), Apache Web Server, LDAP, NFS, Samba, among others.The Federal University of Minas Gerais Open Source Laboratory was responsible for some important initiatives to spread the use of open source solutions through our country. It most famous project was the popular computer, build with Linux as its operation system. The team I led was responsible for building a special Linux distribution in a partnership with the city hall technology company, Prodabel. This distribution, called Libertas, was installed through the municipal education system. Nowadays its the official Linux distribution of the city hall.

Relevant technologies: Verus - a real time model checker.The Verus tool was the result of PhD Thesis of Prof. Sérgio Vale Aguiar Campos, in Carnegie MellonUniversity. The language used by the Verus tool was a subset of the C language. The work developedduring the internship was a extension of the Verus tool. The extension built made the Verus tool ableto work with recursive function calls.
