During my time at Checkout X, I was part of a small yet highly efficient team responsible for developing various projects and features aimed at enhancing the checkout page provided by Checkout X. My responsibilities included:- developing new features- improving the legacy code- fixing bugs and flaky tests- assisting with product development.One of the most notable projects I was involved in was redesigning and rewriting the checkout page. Redesigning the checkout page was a challenging task that involved extensive back-end flow modification of the payment processing system, considering the following:- the large volume of payments processed daily- the need to make the core functionality platform agnostic, which would allow Checkout X to run not only on Shopify but on WooCommerce and other platforms

I joined the company in its early days when the development team was less than ten people.
