Every three months, Venture University develops 3-5 investment theses and makes 3-5 new investments.Venture University's trade school is designed as an Investor Accelerator and includes both a VC/PE Investment Apprenticeship and Academic Program. Venture University accepts <2% of the applications it receives, making it more competitive to get into than the top Ivy League schools and MBA programs.The Investor Accelerator includes individuals who aim to join venture capital and private equity funds or individuals who are new hires at VC/PE funds, angel investors and family offices who seek to professionalize their investment strategies, aspiring new fund managers, entrepreneurs who want to learn to think like investors, experienced professionals who would like to make career transitions, and undergraduate and graduate students (many MBA's use it as a "VC/PE finishing school"). Individuals that are accepted into the Investor Accelerator gain quality investment experience, build a deep network within the startup and VC/PE industry, and share in the financial upside from the investments made.Venture University is redefining the value of an investment fund by creating an investment team that is capable of covering markets broader, deeper, faster, and smarter than a typical fund, providing a powerful network that can better support portfolio companies, and offering greater value to LPs.

• Review, negotiate, and execute NDAs, TAs, MSAs, and subcontractor agreements with primes.• Author business/price volumes in response to federal and state RFQs and RFPs, complete all required forms, assemble, proofread, edit, and submit all volumes while complying with company business practices and policies, government regulations (i.e. FAR clauses), and legal requirements.• Work closely with SME’s, technical, and program teams to manage proposal content and lifecycle and ensure alignment between response and RFQ/RFP requirements.• Identify risk, provide oversight, and resolve contractual issues that may arise in performance of the contract or submission of proposal.• Prepare, track and manage contract documentation; liaise with contracting officers and other client-agency procurement staff, negotiate scope of work changes and disseminate contract modifications; resolve payment/collection issues.

• Analyze and track profit margin and performance to budget for Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFA)• Assess the profitability potential and illustrate market competitiveness of all potential pricing options, providing related insight and recommendations to Firm Management.• Analyze and provide recommendations for timekeeper rates at the title and client level based on industry trends in order to maximize profitability for the Firm.• Complete quarterly and yearly industry surveys from Wells Fargo, Citibank, and PwC to benchmark and improve Firm's performance against peer firms.• Identify financial trends and best practices for AFA management and recommend improvements.• Create and generate project management statistics, KPI reports, and custom financial reports for management and practice group leaders on a monthly basis, including billing and realization reports, client and matter level summaries, as well as practice level and other executive reports.• Utilize SQL and other reporting tools to extract financial data from the accounting system (Rippe & Kingston) for reports and analysis.• Build and populate yearly firm budget templates and models.• Provide marketing with financial reports for all client request and RFPs.• Support the enhancement and testing of online tools for process improvement in matter pricing, budgeting, and profitability.

• Directly support Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.• Support business development efforts through strategic planning, analysis of incentives, and drafting feasibility studies and proposals.• Maintain internal and third party project financial models/databases.• Prepare investment materials and presentations for pursuing corporate, development and project financing funding.• Produce profitability and cashflow forecasts for senior management and investors.• Conduct due diligence background searches on potential investors and competitors.• Evaluate government incentives schemes and author relevant grant applications.• Maintain company marketing and social media platforms.

• Engaged with government agencies, cities and end users of transportation sector for outreach program.• Authored summary reports on local energy conferences/seminars for ACORE’s newsletters.• Contributed and coordinated logistics for annual ACORE Transportation Industry Review.
