As a processing associate at Vanguard, I process a large variety of client requests. I am responsible for making sure that all request follow both Vanguard and FINRA regulations. I was apart of the first group of employees to be dual trained in the two different groups that existed in the processing department. I was responsible for becoming efficient at many different functions that were normally done by several different processing specialists. I will be receiving my series 6 and 63 licenses this summer.

During this time, I had worked as a contractor for Prudential Financial through Corporate Brokers. As a Death Claims Processor, I was in charge of processing the many different death claim requests for Prudential's customers. I had to maintain a strict processing schedule and performance levels. While working as a contractor, I had developed a production tracker that would replace the current programs used by Prudential. The new program was to counter the inefficiencies of the current trackers, and allow for upper management to keep better records of individual performances.

During College I decided to try and start my dream of a new electronic store, and opened my business. I started off in my dormitory and quickly expanded to a store front in downtown Bradford, PA. I did not have any funding from investors and was done through personal finances. I had won a school competition awarded a grant to help expand the business, but in the end I saw that I needed to start over with proper funding and in a different location. I still have plans to reopen my business one day.

Assisted the Assistant and Store managers in managerial tasks, and was the manager on duty most of the time. I had to handle inventory, employees, the store, shrink, sales, marketing, customer service, and store operations. I worked in this positions as a summer job for school.
