Develop, create BE flows and technologies, manage engineers and contractors, and research advanced world class BE methods to cope with future challanges.

Responsibility over backend flows, methodologies/tools, including development and deployment. Strong and successful interface with other groups like RTL/FE, Product definition and marketingLead one of the relatively biggest SoC network processor chips, to complete the BE and timing of the chip. This included RTL2GDS design of the macros, top, timing and inteface with contractors and designers.

Developed COT flow from scratch, to support RTL2GDS and post silicon debug. Started from one eng. with one Linux station to reach to BE group of 6 people with 20 Linux machines, with all the CAD and EDA tools (mainly used Magma and Mentor).

Co-founded a startup company, which designed multimedia processors and SoC. To furnish cash to Nova Semi, I was in charge of several contract projects with big companies like Intel, and Philips. I lead a group of engineers to finish two big projects.

Execution (Multiplier, ALU, ...) unit owner, and fullchip bus group leader. Worked on several projects, starting from Pentium MMX, to Tillamok Mobile Laptop CPU, until early Timna/Centrino family. I owned the SPEC forum of the Pentium MMX, and completed uArch, design, and layout of I/O+logic blocks.

Project Manager of complex PLD (CPLD) chip, including ownership on the whole design from product definition, logic and circuit design, until tapeout, silicon charaterization and ES-10K production. I also worked on logic design and circuit design in several projects, CAM, HyperSparc Dual-Port, 22v10 PLD, CPLD 37X family.
