This project serves millions of users.- The tech stack for this project was Java 17, Spring WebFlux, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.- Acted as the Tech Leader, focused on coding, solution design, and requirement analysis.- This project used Spring WebFlux as the framework, and most of the team members didn't have the experience, to solve this I used methods like sessions and code reviews to help the team members on board quickly.- I promoted some best practices like Pair Programming, Test-Driven Development, and Trunk-Based Development, which help the team transfer knowledge more frequently and improve efficiency.

- We built an application based on Google's 4 key metrics theory, it integrates with various CI/CD pipelines and uses the data to calculate the 4 key metrics, which help teams measure their software delivery performance and identify areas to improve. This application was open-sourced and has 300+ stars on GitHub.- The tech stack for this project was Kotlin, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Docker and AWS.- Acted as the Tech Leader, focusing on solution design, coding and maintaining the code base after it was open-sourced.- Analyzed the data from CI/CD pipelines and designed the algorithm for each metric calculation.- During the development, I communicated with other teams to integrate our product and gathered valuable feedback, it was analyzed and implemented, which improved the project.- Encouraged the team to use TDD in this project, and in the end, the unit test coverage was more than 90%.

- Collaborated with a world-leading mining group, and developed many products, like a mining site visualization system(won an internal innovation prize), a blast notification system, and an equipment utility analysis system. These systems served 1,000+ users and improved site efficiency and safety.- The tech stack for this project was Java, Kotlin, Python, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Redis, DynamoDB, AWS Aurora, AWS SNS, AWS Lambda, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.- Acted as the key backend developer and DevOps, focused on backend coding, solution design, infrastructure setup and maintenance.- As backend engineer I took most of the responsibilities in the backend, which included writing most of the code(6+ services) and troubleshooting, I once successfully completed the backend development under a tight two-week deadline, and I also took care of the code quality, for example, I used TDD during the development and the unit test coverage was more than 95%.- As DevOps, I helped the team set up infrastructures like a CI/CD pipeline and Kafka, and maintained the Kubernetes cluster. I’ve implemented a solution for crossing AWS accounts and Kubernetes cluster deployment, which was used by many other teams.

- Collaborated with a leading insurance company to build an online insurance claim system and an online insurance purchasing platform.- The tech stack for this project was Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Redis and AWS.- Acted as a backend engineer, focused on coding, testing and deployment.- Designed and implemented an SMS verification flow, which sends an SMS to the user and the user can only do further operations after they verify the code. It integrated with the Redis and guarded the safety of the application.- Helped onboarding and training three junior developers for six months, helping them identify areas of weakness in their skill set and develop study plans, and all of them passed probation periods successfully.
