No matter what endeavors I pursue, I always make sure to dedicate all my effort and work ethic to each one. Whether it is school work, or working a regular minimum wage job to get by, I treat every task seriously. It is imperative that I not only achieve what is expected of me, but to also raise expectations, and that is what I aspire to do with any responsibility placed in front of me. I learned from a very young age to treat every task seriously and always set my goals as high as possible. Although I don't hold the required job experience for most job, I make up for my lack of professional work experience with my community and academic leadership experience. I have participated in extracurricular activities and held leadership positions in my two honors societies, Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta. I recently received the award for Outstanding English Student at Saint Xavier University, and held the role as president of the school Sigma Tau Delta chapter. I have multiple writing samples that demonstrate my effectiveness in writing for a diverse audience, and they are available upon further request. I am also an active social media user and utilize each social media platform to the best of my ability. My experience as a meat wrapper at Jewel Osco has given me the necessary customer service and task management skills needed for the positions I seek. I answer calls and determine which department or manager to transfer them to, file any orders or complaints related to my department, and handle multiple tasks at once, which is why my managers feel comfortable leaving me to do a two-person job alone. I also have exceptional time-management skills, and meet deadlines promptly without any issues.
