Hyewon Kang is a Business Development Manager and former Project Manager (PM) at Gauss Labs. Passionate to lead the business world and contribute to the society, she has sought various opportunities combining her interests and qualifications. After she received the B.A. in Statistics and Financial Engineering at Korea University, she obtained various opportunities to learn from prestigious companies including Monitor Group (strategic consulting), Procter & Gamble (strategy), J.P. Morgan (investment banking), and Standard Chartered (M&A). She also joined the startup for electronic bus system BEGINS to establish a business model and to raise KRW 25+ billion as a sole provider of the 2030 Carbon Free Island Project at Jeju Island. After leaving BEGINS, she reformed her career to data science with receiveing M.A. in Statistics at Yonsei University and joining SK Hynix Data Research. As one of the founding members of Gauss Labs, she decided to serve as a Project Manager and Business Development Manager, offering her full range of capabilities from data analytics to strategic planning and management.
