As founder and program director, I created the Hypnobabies Childbirth Course for childbirth education using hypnosis. This comprehensive course incorporates the best in natural childbirth education with medical hypno-anesthesia techniques, to decrease or eliminate pain and fear from the childbirth experience. Responsible for disseminating information about this approach to the general public, especially:• Women desiring a natural childbirth• Professionals working with expectant couples• Students of chiropractic, nursing, medicine, holistic modalities• Non-Profit Groups advocating natural birth This job is simultaneously clinical and administrative. Hypno-Doula TrainingsNationwide, taught by Certified Hypnobabies Instructors onlyHypno-Doula Trainings are taught to ensure that birth assistants, also called doulas, become trained in the hypnotic childbirth techniques that Hypnobabies students use. These techniques are very different than the traditional doula training techniques, and are necessary for every doula to learn so that each Hypnobabies mom can have the natural birthing she desires, with excellent support. The doulas that have been trained so far (over 1000) have been very fascinated with Hypnobabies and many have become so enthusiastic that they have signed up to become Hypnobabies Instructors, also adding our link to their websites and doula brochures.
