I am a Structural Engineer experienced in the design and inspection of commercial, hospitality, health care and educational projects. I am experienced in the design of structures using most all common materials. As a proven design professional I strive to complete projects on time, under budget and of the highest quality. I excel at overseeing multiple projects while directing design activities, managing workloads, controlling cost and providing quality control from project commencement to its successful completion. I personally enjoy performing construction administration activities while working with contractors and clients to provide a quality product on time. I have assisted in the renovation and repair of concrete structures including numerous parking decks. I am experienced with ICC 500 and FEMA 361 storm shelter design. I have also designed hospitals and residences in hurricane zones.I have a master’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a dual emphasis in structural design and construction management and am a LEED Accredited Professional. I am experienced in the use of most common software systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, Autocad, RISA, SAP, SAFE, Enercalc, RetainPro and most RAM software.

My occupational specially required training in over twenty "mission critical" aircraft systems and a secret level clearance. During my final year in service I was bench supervisor in charge of six Marines and performed quality assurance for all repaired equipment in my shop.
