About Hyunjun Jang

I am running the Hyundai Motor Company High Voltage Battery Modeling Research Group. ※ Battery modeling for battery state estimation (SOC, SOH, fail&safe, ...) ① Electrochemical model ② Electrical equivalent circuit model (2RC model advancement) ③ Lumped thermal model for battery system temperature prediction ④ Battery state estimation(prediction) through big data-deep learning (LSTM and various time series data learning models) -In particular, I am interested in deep learning-based battery state estimation, has experience in LSTM-based battery system voltage estimation projects, and conducting battery state prediction research through time series data analysis. I am particularly interested in applying the SOTA time series deep learning algorithm to batteries. I am developing an algorithm for battery state(SOX, battery state for fail&safe) estimation according to the situation of mass-produced cars(HEV/PHEV/EV, considering BMS H/W spec) and am familiar with the battery system and cell test equipment. I don't think an engineering leader is a position to be reported by words, but a person who studies more, knows more deeply, and proposes a clear research direction based on various experiences and engineering knowledge.
