I do believe in destiny. The road may not be as smooth as I wish it to be, but I am convinced where there is a will, there is a way. This belief has led me to where I am now. From the first time I was led into a baseball stadium by my father’s hand as a little kid, I became fascinated by sport fatefully and it still has been at the top of the list among what I love. With the full support of my parents, who allowed me to learn and try a wide array of activities and opportunities, I was able to develop many different talents. The talents I have discovered from my past experiences rather made it difficult for me to step onto any one specific career path, however, I realized that working in the sport field is what I would love the most to be involved in and my heart tells me to proceed. That is why I majored in sport management to make my lifelong dream come true.I am a highly self-motivated individual who has been trying to become a better team player as well as a nicer person. I have been told by many people that I have a strong sense of responsibility and am a completely trustworthy person who keeps his word. Honesty and positive mindset are also of the utmost importance to me, for I have believed those two values would lead me to success. Furthermore, I am proud to say I am a very meticulous person, excellent at doing precise work with great attention to detail. With 5 years of experience working at franchised hotels in Korea and Canada, from a regular employee to supervisory roles, I was able to find out the characteristics I have can differentiate me from others. These characteristics include interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, quality customer service, leadership, professionalism, and loyalty. Even though I take my first step toward the sport industry just now, the invaluable assets that I have achieved from previous experiences will be very helpful in my future career. Also, I am a people person who is a fun-loving extrovert!My interests are full of sports. Since I decided to work towards my dream, I have been spending more time by doing anything related to sports regardless of its league or event. In recent years, I have been watching sports from the statistician perspective and hugely interested in analyzing and interpreting data. Therefore, my current interest is to become a sport performance or research analyst that contributes to a team or an organization from the behind-the-scenes. Last, but certainly not least, I am open and willing to try every opportunity I can be given in the industry.
