•Ensure that adequate permanent corrective and preventive actions are implemented in response to Ballard corrective action requests (8D)• Work closely with engineering, and manufacturing departments, as well as with suppliers to determine ideal specification requirements• Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between external suppliers and internal purchasing, quality, and design teams• Coordinate periodic reviews of supplier scorecard and ensure corrective actions are communicated, implemented, and have their effectiveness verified• Perform supplier audits. (Perform supplier process audit, report supplier audit result, tracksupplier audit action plan)• Prepare sourcing decision and share to management supplier selected• Responsible for determination of first article qualification requirements, PPAP and supplier partqualifications, sign off on incoming inspection control plans, and capability studies• Drive supplier’s product development and approval following AIAG APQP• Take overall leadership on supplier process change evaluation and qualification
