About Håkon Hoff

To me, programming is not about languages or frameworks. It is about creative problem solving. The reason I became a programmer is because I love solving problems. I have a vast set of interests represented in my podcast library which covers topics such as management/leadership, software development, cloud technologies, psychology, personal finance, politics, marketing and law. I am not just a coder; I am a problem solver and I always try to understand the entire domain instead of just the technical. However as this is not the way companies are buying contractors, I will say that my core competencies are in Java + Spring with 3 years of experience along with some frontend with various frameworks. Recently I also have developed applications using Azure OpenAI’s GPT API. I also have relevant master’s degree and certifications.
