Member of the management committee of Bluestar's silicone operations in Xinghuo, Jiangxi province, China, with special responsibility to follow-up a 600 MEUR green-field silicone plant project.Merger and reorganisation of Elkem's two largest technology organizations (Elkem Solar Research and Elkem Technology and Projects), with a total staff of 160 employees (in 2011). Overall responsibility for Elkem’s corporate technology and project management standards.(furnaces, design of machinery, high voltage systems, technical safety, etc.).In average, I spend 50% of my time on long-term R&D activities and 50% on industrial plant projects. My main role is in close cooperation with the business units, develop strategies and prioritize projects, provide competency and capacity to the projects (both project managers and technology experts), supervise during execution, and to quality assure deliverables.

Business responsibility for ABB's products for advanced monitoring, control and optimization of offshore oil and gas production. The duties covered marketing, sales and proposals, product development, delivery projects, and after-sales services (staff 55). Manager of ABB’s Oilfield of the Future / Integrated Operations business development project.Member of ABB's business development team for acquisitions of small technology companies that would fit into ABB's oil, gas and petrochemicals portfolio (from 2001 to 2004).Responsible for ABB's Upstream Technology Programme (systems for optimization and advanced control) covering gas transport pipelines, on-shore and offshore oil and gas production with product development teams in 5 countries (in 2002-03).Development of a technology organization from 4 to 35 highly qualified experts within advanced control and optimization of oil and gas plants (in 2000-05).

Participation in capture teams (sales and proposal development) for large oil and gas projects.Various oil and gas process improvement projects for ABB's customers, including commissioning of gas compressor control systems, low pressure and tail-end oil and gas production, and control and optimization of flow assurance systems.

Member of the start-up team for the Sleipner West gas platform.
