About Hélie De Cornois

I am a Partner of the Stonehage Fleming Group and Head of our Family Office division in Luxembourg. I advise ultra-high net worth private clients and investors on a range of international and domestic tax and estate planning matters. I have extensive experience in the estate planning industry.Prior to joining the Stonehage Fleming Group in 2021, I was Head of Estate Planning & International Patrimonial Services at Banque Degroof Petercam in Luxembourg, where I was responsible for the Estate Planning department. I was also responsible for coordinating International Estate Planning files for the group and for developing private banking in Southern Europe, Canada and UK. I joined Banque Degroof Petercam in 2007 and held my roles which included Head of Wealth Structuring and Head of Corporate and Structured Finance in Luxembourg. I began my career in 2003 at Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez (now CA Indosuez Wealth) in Paris as an estate planner.I hold a Master’s degree in business law from the University of Paris X (Nanterre) and Post Graduate Diploma (DESS) in applied taxation from the University of Paris V (Malakoff). I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA).
