I have been interested in telling stories and writing poems since my early childhood, sometimes driving my family to sleep. I have a small portfolio of stories and poems in Ukrainian, English, and Russian, all of which are now my mother tongues. As a University professor and translator, I constantly revolve around these languages, while teaching, translating, and editing. My true calling of storytelling, however, has not been required by many employers, that is why the child in me is delighted at this breathtaking opportunity to reveal itself once again.As a war refugee myself, I admire the work you are doing for the great cause and believe I could be a valuable part of your team of professionals.
