My team has created a novel “Amino Acid Click Synthesis (AACS) System” that allows us to make amino acid conjugates with target molecules as easily as building toy blocks. The products of the AACS system can include anti-cancer drugs, anti-viral drugs, anti-super bacterial drugs, mineral supplements, mineral feed, and mineral fertilizer, among others.One of the AACS products, AMBG1, is a G4 ligand that can downregulate the expression levels of oncogenes and reduce the number of cancer cells to the wild-type control in animal cancer models without hepatotoxicity and embryotoxicity.
