With primary focus on the effective and holistic implementation of child rights, our approach is rights-based, to strengthen government institutions like schools, hospitals and anganwadi centres. My key areas of work include documentation, stakeholder-engagement, monitoring and supervision, while we work in close conjunction with the community (child/adolescent collectives, community-based organisations) in six urban-slums of Jawaharnagar, Telangana.

BusLoBhaorsa aims to advocate for a safer & gender-responsive transit infrastructure against sexual harassment in the TSRTC city buses, Hyderabad.It was born during Awaaz-e-Telangana, which is a year-long part time fellowship programme by WomComMatters, supported by change.org, She Creates Change and Indian School of Democracy. Aiming to influence policy action and provide an informed perspective to public narrative, I was primarily involved in campaigning and citizen movements for issues related to gender and governance.

- Worked for Girls Advocacy Alliance (GAA) India, a project supported by Terre des Hommes – Netherlands. It was aimed at creating equal rights and opportunities for adolescent girls against Child Marriages and Trafficking through Secondary Education and Vocational Trainings. GAA was implemented by Tharuni, an NGO working for the welfare of adolescent girls and young women in Telangana. Headed the Telangana Communications Desk under the Programme Division and produced IEC materials and reports, among other creatives.- Worked for Project Safe Childhood, an initiative by the British Deputy High Commission, Hyderabad, to reduce the vulnerability of sexual abuse and trafficking among children from 10 low-income group schools in the city.
