Full-stack development requires a broad skillset. FRONT-ENDThe key to exceptional front-end engineering is a thorough understanding of user experience, and in turn, user interface implementation. The latter requires a comprehensive understanding of various front-end technologies, the core being HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue, React...BACK-ENDIt demands extensive knowledge of API principles like REST and GraphQL. In addition to this, to be an exceptional back-end engineer, the candidate must excel in at least one back-end technology as well as database design and implementation.RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and implementation of the overall web architecture- “Pixel-perfect” implementation of the approved user interface- Design and deployment of the database- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability- Design and construction of the REST/GraphQL API- Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API- Design and implementation of continuous integration and deploymentSKILLS- Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE:Mr. Boutin took the initiative to transform the banking sector’s information tools and use Power BI to explain metrics such as financials, sales, and other strategic data. Following the development of these reports, he presented them to the CGI BI Canada Center of Excellence and other business units, who wanted to integrate these new tools into their practices.
