Providing booster sessions in Maths and Writing for Y6 pupils aiming to meet age related expectations.

Tutoring individual children or small groups from Y5 or Y6 in Maths, Writing, Science and Reading Comprehension. Booster work at national standard or Greater depth

I have been employed in Educational establishments all of my working life: initially as a Residential Social Worker before moving into teaching in 2001. After working as a class teacher and Key Stage 2 leader I was appointed Deputy Head/Vice Principal. Having taken early retirement in August 2018, I subsequently accepted a two-year contract to work part-time as a Senior Safeguarding Lead.I work well as part of a team as well as individually. Skills & Experience in…• School data management and assessment; moderation – school, trust wide and county wide;• Teaching & Learning; mentoring NQTs and trainees; CPD for NQTs, students and trainee teachers; additional support to ESCC for NQTs and Trainees in other schools; • Y6 boosters and Greater Depth teaching.• Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL); managing Safeguarding caseload; attending multi-agency Child Protection Conferences, Strategy Meetings, Core Groups and Family Support Meetings; supervision of staff; reviewing cases; organising, supervising and leading training for all staff; conducting Safeguarding peer reviews across the UoB Academies Trust.
