• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks and to support business needs • Maintain current networking environments by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards • Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations • Ensure network capacity and uptime by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues • Manage remote network access using RADIUS, AnyConnect, and Citrix • Documentation of the logical and physical state of the network and proper change control procedures • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. • Work closely with the users of each network in order to pro-actively identify potential issues and fix existing problems as well as perform root cause analysis

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware • Train computer users • Maintain daily performance of computer systems • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software • Clean up computers and database entries • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) • Install computer peripherals for users • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
